Hotel Wolmar’s restaurant has been in operation since 2000. Wolmar is the historical name of the city of Valmiera. The restaurant serves guests from early morning until late evening for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For various events in hotel’s function rooms guests are provided with beautiful table set ups for coffee breaks, banquets and other events. Its’ interior is designed with motifs of nature emphasizing the simplicity and beauty of the meadow.

What is your recommandation from the menu?
The restaurant’s menu includes both local and foreign products. Especially popular is pikeperch from local Lake Burtnieki and the exquisite Valmiermuiža beer. Restaurant’s guests have the opportunity to taste Valmiera salad which recipe was created in 1969. This dish is still among the most popular in the menu for Valmiera residents.

What is your restaurants team like?
Restaurant’s team works together to create seasonal menus including local forest delicacies such as berries, chanterelles and mushrooms. For the summer season home-made ice cream is made in unusual flavors such as basil and lavender.
