Ruhe

Restaurant Ruhe was opened in a old fisherman village in August 2013. The owner was interior designer and had no previous experience in a restaurant business. As a suitable property called Kala was found from an old building which needed a renovation, it took just one year total to open thea restaurant. Hardest thing in that process was finding a good name for the place and there were over 100 suitable names before the right one was found. Ruhe means calmness, peacel and that’s how you feel sitting by the sea. It also means old fishing boat in Estonian and you can find one from Ruhe terrace.

We use only fresh fish and preparing the dishes, both pure flavours as well as old fishermen’s tradition are held in high regard. The healthiness of the dishes is not forgotten either. We have good champagne and white wine selection which goes perfectly with fish and seafood.
