The Nordics’ most prestigious travel industry award gala is finally coming to Finland – Grand Travel Award will be held for the first time in Finland on June 2, 2025, at Epicenter Helsinki.

For over 30 years, the Grand Travel Award has been the leading travel industry award event in the Nordic region. Now, this highly regarded concept will have its own Finnish edition – providing a unique platform to recognize excellence and celebrate the top performers in Finland’s travel sector.
“We strongly believe the event will be well received and will elevate the value and visibility of the travel industry in Finland. It is aimed exclusively at professionals in the sector and attendance is by invitation only. The event is free of charge and the venue holds 300 guests – time will tell if it fills up, but knowing the Finns, I believe it will,” says event producer Titti Myhrberg.
The awards are based on independent and validated research conducted by the neutral and respected research firm Nordic Bench, as explained by CEO Jan Ogner:
“We use the Net Promoter Score (NPS) methodology across all Nordic countries, which measures customers’ willingness to recommend a company. In addition, we assess each company based on ten key brand image factors. This combination provides a clear, comparable, and in-depth view of customer experience and brand perception. Independent research is essential to the credibility of these awards – it allows us to identify and recognize the truly best-performing companies, not just the most well-known. Companies included in the voting categories cannot influence the results through marketing or mobilizing networks – and that’s exactly what sets us apart from traditional popularity contests.”
